Concious Living Monthly Session

An ongoing dialogue between Michael Daner and George Pitagorsky

In this monthly (third Mondays), session participants will sit together and use a variety of teachings as a foundation to address how to integrate insight meditation practice and wisdom thinking into daily living; any time, anywhere.

There will be opportunity to explore personal issues and applied spiritual philosophy both in the group and in individual interviews. The opportunity to work in an ongoing group is an essential support to practical application of Dharma into one’s life.

Participants should have a sincere commitment to self-exploration and basic knowledge of insight meditation practice.

This program is sponsored by NY Insight Meditation Center (NYIMC) and is held from 7 - 9 PM at the NYIMC facility at 28 West 27th Street, 10th floor, New York, NY.

Practices

A mind that is focused like a laser and open as the sky is the result of meditation practice

“Practice makes perfect.” Among the most powerful tools in the world is meditation. Meditation is referred to as practice and there are many variations on the theme. These practices can be used to cultivate mindfulness, relaxation and concentration. They are simple but profound. Traditionally they have been taught in an oral tradition but here they are in writing. You can try them out and see if they are “interesting”.
